Brett Hawthorne has spent more than two decades leading complex programmes across critical infrastructure, operational technology and mission-critical communications. He has delivered and recovered multi-million dollar initiatives for government agencies, public safety organisations, mining operators and telecommunications providers throughout New Zealand and Australia.
His experience spans the full programme lifecycle: business case development, procurement and vendor selection, governance design, delivery leadership, operational readiness and independent assurance. Brett is known for his ability to enter challenged programmes and restore stakeholder confidence through structured intervention, clear communication and disciplined execution.
Prior to founding TandemIT, Brett held senior programme leadership roles across infrastructure advisory, public safety technology and operational communications. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and has maintained active engagement with industry bodies in programme management and critical infrastructure.
